Zara - Black - 100% Dalmatian

3 years old

Zara is a cherished member of our family, bringing immense joy into our lives. She has accompanied us on countless road trips and holidays, relishing the great outdoors. Together with Chloe, she underwent training for the Great North Run, effortlessly running a whopping 17k. Zara's affectionate nature extends to everyone she meets, often sitting out the window, eagerly greeting passersby with infectious smiles. It's no wonder that everyone who crosses paths with her instantly falls in love.

Zara is a black Dalmatian and carries the black, liver and tan gene. In Dalmatians, coat color genetics can be a bit more complex due to the presence of the "spotted" or "patched" pattern characteristic of the breed. The gene responsible for this pattern is called the "piebald" gene, which interacts with genes for black and liver (brown) coat colors.

Chase - Lemon - 100% Dalmatian

2 years old

Chase is very lovable and extremely handsome family dog. He is very active, intelligent, and extremely loyal. He adores children and people. He plays all day at home with his small pack where his owners keep horses, cows cats and geese.

Chase is a Lemon Dalmatian, his father is a black spot and a lemon gene carrier and his mother is a liver. Lemon Dalmatians have a lighter coloration that is caused by a recessive gene mutation in the Dalmatian breed. While Lemons still have spots, they are typically much lighter and can sometimes be mistaken for a different breed or a mixed breed Dalmatian. Lemon Dalmatians are not as common as those with traditional black or liver spots, as the gene for this lighter coloration is less prevalent in the breed's gene pool.
